Ukulele classes at Tacoma Community Colege enrolling now

I'm pleased to announce that I'll be teaching ukulele classes beginning in the Spring quarter (the first week of May) at Tacoma Community College at both their campuses (Tacoma and Gig Harbor, WA) through their Continuing Education division.  The classes are reasonably priced and meet once a week for 90 minute sessions on Thursday evenings in Gig Harbor(6:30 to 8 PM) and Saturday mornings (9:30 to 11 AM) in Tacoma.  So if you or anyone you know is into the ukulele and living in the Tacoma/Gig Harbor areas of Washington state, check out "Ukulele For Everyone".  Here's the enrollment link: https://csprd.ctclink.us/psc/oce/EMPLOYEE/SA/c/SE_CLSSRCH.SE_CLSSRCH_CMP.GBL?INSTITUTION=WA220&CAMPUS=MAIN

The course will cover the basics: how to hold the uke and pick, how to fret notes and chords, how to read and play uke tablature, strumming patterns, etc.  This foundation will lead to the really fun part of the class, where students will play uke versions of familiar songs.   Students will need to bring either a soprano, concert or tenor uke to each class (no baritone ukes, as they're tuned differently) and I'll provide all the printed materials for the class.

Price is $113
